There are no questions that the next generation of 21st century journalists can be found at our summer journalism camp in Manhattan. The journalism skills and communication training that we provide to high school journalists not only prepares them for their scholastic year, but provides a venue to continue their interest well after their four years in high school.
You can help them succeed. With the competition more fierce than ever to land a spot in a high school student’s summer schedule, we are needing some additional help from our local Manhattan community, K-State Journalism and Mass Communications alumni, and supporters of scholastic journalism to take our camp to the next level. Your donation to our summer journalism camp would provide immediate help to improve the campus experience, student entertainment and overall journalism training our campers receive during their time on K-State’s campus.
Bag Contributor to the FHWP 2023 camp bag
$75-$100 contribution
This donation could be either cash or a product to add to our campers bags or will help fund additional supplies and K-State goodies for each student journalist who attends. This bag will primarily promote the A.Q. Miller School of Journalism and the Collegian Media Group. You will be featured on our Flint Hills Publication Workshop website for this contribution.
Lunch Contributor for FHPW 2023
$250-$350 contribution
We are looking for two sponsored lunches at our workshop this summer. Your contribution will help feed the 50-75 students and advisers at our journalism workshop. For this contribution, you will be featured on our Flint Hills Publication website and camp program.
Wildcat Elite Contributor for FHPW 2023
$500-$1000 contribution
As a main sponsor of our camp, your name will be used on our camp t-shirt, multiple social media promotions through Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, the printed camp program, and Flint Hills Publication Workshop website. You will also receive a complimentary Flint Hills Workshop t-shirts and other workshop materials as well as a copy of our Kansas State 2023 Royal Purple yearbook, two issues of Manhappenin magazine, and several issue of the Collegian newspaper mailed directly to your home address.
